To celebrate the launch of their debut single, long-haired psychedelic rockers Oscar Suave are holding an event at 93 Feet East, Brick Lane tonight.
The event, which is being held to mark the release of their single ‘No Direction’, will see the band supported in the small venue by Desert Mountain Tribe and Fifth Friend, as well as DJ sets from Plan 9 and Looking Glass Alice, before embarking on their European tour.
The video for the single, directed by Simon Smith, is out now and sees the band’s bearded members (and female guitarist) playing on the steps of a council block of flats before moving through parks, roads, fields and forest, all perfectly in atmospheric tune with the songs surging guitar lines. The throwback style of the song is nostalgic yet still seems fresh (probably because not many people still make this music).
Check out the video below, and head down to 93 Feet East on Brick Lane for a cheap night with good music.
