Barclaycard Mercury Prize ‘Albums of the Year Live’ Gig

This year sees the launch of a series of live shows in London in celebration of the Mercury Prize awards and to raise money for charity.
A series of shortlisted artists have been selected to play at LSO St Luke’s on Wednesday 26th September amongst them Lianne La Havas, Jessie Ware and Field Music. The line up reflects the diversity of talented selected for this year’s album of the year award and all of these acts will support the more then worthy cause of War Child.
The charity supports children all over the world who have been afflicted by the terrible conflicts that scar it. Tickets are available to fans through competitions and balloting with the first open this Wednesday 19th for 48 hours. Entry to the gig will be free but a £10 donation to War Child is required for each pair of tickets.
So for fans of great music looking to support a great cause, look no further than this year’s Albums of the Year live gigs.
