FIDLAR our weekend tune.

Well it’s Friday and no this isn’t something we normally do but what the heck, this is our indie weekend anthem. If you like it tell us and we’ll keep trying to give you an awesome weekend track ever Friday.
This weekend it’s FIDLAR with No Waves. This song makes you want to be naughty. The contradiction of the quaint Beach Boys opening with the hit of a song with the chorus line “I feel like shooting up,” is sure fire way of getting us interested.
This song makes you want to drink every beer you can find and run around like a lunatic with your pants down and your mates by your side, and that was the inspiration for the song, sort of.
These boys aren’t the sort you take home to your mother, party boys and pot-heads they're hardly the role-models you’d want for your kids- but they are bad ass. The song was inspired by Zac’s time in rehab .
He comments, “The counsellors always ask you, ‘How do you feel?’” he explains. “The song’s about saying, ‘I dunno – I just wanna go surfing, have fun and party with my friends.’” By the sounds of things these boys know how to party.
FIDLAR’s lifestyle may be a bit too rock and roll for us but hell we’ll try and roll with them for the journey – grab a funnel and a keg we’re heading to the beach !
