Pussy Riot Appeal Decison

You’d need to have been living under a rock (in a cockerel’s boot?) for the last few weeks to not have heard about the conviction of Russian Punk Band Pussy Riot, and their 2-year jail sentence for "hooliganism motivated by religious hatred."
With support from celebrities, public figures, and the general population all over the world, all eyes are on Russia, making it harder for the Russian authorities to treat the women as inhumanely as they undoubtedly would otherwise.
Now, their lawyer has confirmed that an appeal against the original ruling has been made, and a decision is expected within just ten days. Watch this space!
