Rick Ross of Maybach Music Group from Miami is preparing the launch of yet another album, and to promote it he released a new single featuring Jay-Z and Dr. Dre, entitled '3 Kings'.
How the hell he got the two doctors of rap from New York and Los Angeles to lend their names and credibility to his music is beyond us. It probably involves vast amounts of money. Nevertheless, the collab is now out and truth be told it doesn't sound bad. It's a good track, just more of the same. Have a listen yourself if you like - it's embedded on this page. Rick Ross will never make his mark on hip-hop the way the other two did years ago, and the fact that he doesn't want to come to terms with his mediocrity is embarrassing for everybody.
The way he promotes himself in this video, delusionally comparing his abilities to Martin Scorsese's (?!) and others would be really awkward if it weren't funny in the involuntary comedy sort of way. His whole persona is absolutely hilarious just as long as you don't take him seriously, although we have the impression that some people actually buy into his crap, which is outright dangerous. Watch out!
