Tribes set to record second album

Indie | Tuesday 10th July 2012 | Osh

The four piece rock band from Camden in London are set to start work on their new album.

The Tribes who have recently been touring with The Kooks as a result of their debut EP Baby have  announced that they will start work on their second studio album in September.

The band who will be recording their new EP across the pond in the states are most well known for hits like Sappho and Corner of an English Field, their hit song We Were Children was named hottest record in the world by Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe.

Their first album was wildly underrated in my opinion, whilst they racked up their fair share of accreditation from the likes of NME, they failed to make any headway on a mainstream scale and are still considered as an emerging act. Here's hoping their second album will earn them the praise they deserve.

They have a very full festival calendar this summer and you can catch them at the likes of Kendal Calling in Cumbria.
