Homeless Man Returns $3000 To Owner, And Receives Donations For His Honesty

A homeless man in Arizona found a bag full of cash which could have changed his life, but he decided to do the right thing and return it.
49 Year Old Dave Tally was unemployed, in debt and had lost his driver’s licence! He didn’t even own a warm bed, instead sleeping on a mat in a church- based homeless shelter.
That’s where he found the backpack containing $3,300. He decided to track down the owner Bryan Berlanger, a college kid who was planning to buy a car with the money.
Tally felt good about his honesty. The National Media got hold of what had happened and donations flooded in, the man soon found himself with $10,000.
He began to use his money sensibly, paying off bills and trying to clear debts. He even managed to move into a ‘no- frills’ apartment and landed his dream job managing a community garden.
Extending his kindness to others, Tally started an internship programme allowing homeless people to volunteer in his garden.
This is a truly inspiring story and shows what good can come out of hard work and human decency!
