Music For: Funerals

No, this isn’t one of those sobering articles where we make you confront your own mortality. We wouldn’t do that to you on a Tuesday morning. A funeral doesn’t necessarily have to be a completely sad event. No you want it to reflect the sort of person you are. Think of it just as another party you’ll throw...which just happens to be the last one. You want it to be great. The only way to do that is to be in TOTAL control of the playlist. Do you let other people have control of the music at your parties? Hell no! Ain’t nobody going to set the mood but you. You want people to cry, you want people to laugh and remember the good times. What you don’t want is some soppy funeral director playing Celine Dion on repeat. Here are some sad songs, some moving songs, and some down right funny songs. Because that’s what life is all about!
Sam Cooke - A Change Is Gonna Come
Johnny Cash - Hurt
Oasis - Cigarettes and Alcohol
Rolling Stones - Wild Horses
The Kinks - This Time Tomorrow
Fleetwood Mac - Songbird
P Diddy - I’ll Be Missing You.
Miles Kane - First of My Kind
Masters in France - Playin’ With My Friends
Queen - Another One Bites The Dust
Karen O & Ezra Koenig - The Moon Song
Sinead O’ Connor - Nothing Compares
Cast Of Wizard Of Oz - Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead
AC/DC - Highway To Hell
The Beatles - Not A Second Time
Bruce Springsteen - I’m Goin’ Down
Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run
