Sneakbo is back on a Certified wave!
His new mixtape (dropping October 26th) looks set to be a smash, featuring a whole host of new content promising to set the bar high and most likely propel the young South London artist further into the mainstream scene and onto the setlists of DJs worldwide. Currently on tour, Sneakbo is taking the UK nightlife by storm, hitting up clubs and student nights everywhere from Plymouth to Hertfordshire!
Most will know him for ‘The Wave’ which introduced the ‘jetski’ to the masses and got us all jumpin’ and daggerin’ until the early hours; the track entered the UK Top 40 and now the Drake co-signed rapper looks to advance this kind of success by getting his tracks more radio play, ensuring he becomes a household name. More recently he’s dropped a host of new bangers such as ‘Real G’ and ‘Them Days’, which feature on the new release. For those who don’t know, his style incorporates dancehall and dubstep with memorable, oft-comedic rap lyrics. ‘Bo is all about having fun, and has successfully entertained both partygoers and industry professionals.
With this new project, Sneakbo seeks a new direction, looking to move away from his gangsta rap roots, and onward to bigger things. While he is set to continue the ‘jetski wave’ that has become his signature, introuduced when he rapped alongside the likes of Political Peak and Serious Sykes as part of ‘Gas Gang’ on hood classics such as 'Wave Like Us' he is now more focused on musical content than ever before. The man himself states; “I just want people to hear my music. I don’t want to spend my life looking over my shoulder, I just want to party and be free…” And he hopes we’ll join him in doing so. He’s already shown us the wave, so get ready to ride it with him on his new ‘Certified’ tape!
