If Chance The Rapper & Chief Keef were to produce a musical love child; the result would be Lucki Eck$. He generated buzz last year with the release of his mixtape Alternative Trap & we can only hope that 2014 be a big year for him.

Unlike the rest of the artist on this list, Jean Grae is a hip hop underground legend. She’s been active since 96’ but it’s blatant that her greatness has gone unacknowledged.

The third Chicago native on our list. With two solid mixtapes under his belt, there’s no doubt that 2014 holds great things for him. He has already toured with the likes of J.Cole & Wale. Recently he announced he will be joining Danny Brown on a Europe Tour.
