“Vocal issues and exhaustion” blamed for sudden end to KOL tour.
It has been an eventful few days for Kings Of Leon. It all started on the 29th July when frontman Caleb Followill left the stage in Dallas complaining of vocal problems. He told the crowd he was just going to grab another beer. However, after he failed to return, brother Jared came onstage and stated that Caleb was unable to return to the stage but blamed his brother saying that the crowd should “hate Caleb, not us”. The gig ended there and then with speculation that there was a divide in the group.
Following this, a show in Houston was further cancelled with heat exhaustion cited as the problem. Later in the day a subsequent statement was released, "We are so sorry to say Kings Of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion. The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take a break."
Due to an ever busy schedule, Kings Of Leon are unable to reorganise the gigs.
