Album Debut - Jhene Aiko

From a café waitress to a transitioning Angel of R&B, Jhene Aiko has released her debut album “Sail Out” on today (12/11/13). The Los Angeles singer/songwriter signed with record producer No I.D’s record label Artium, which is linked to Def Jam Records, in 2011. Formerly signed to The Ultimate Group and Epic Records, Aiko began her career through the R&B group B2K, where she sang hooks and choruses for the group. She has recently featured in the “Beware” track by Big Sean, and “From time” by Drake. Her new album features artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino and Ab-Soul. The singer has said that the album has been inspired by legends such as John Lennon. Although Jhene Aiko has been around for nearly 10 years, she is now being recognised as the amazing artist she is.
