TRACK PREMIERE: HOST - I Wanna Be Your Friend
Give this new track from HOST a spin.
The East London production and DJ duo, who first connected over their love of New Order, Talking Heads and Marshall Jefferson, burst onto the scene back in April with their debut track ‘All Night Every Night’.
The follow up ‘I Wanna Be Your Friend’ is attracting a lot of heat already - Monki is a fan, having spun it for the last few weeks - and with its driving bass, punchy keys and synth-heavy breakdown it’s easy to see why. It’s a contemporary dance floor destroyer by way of the 80s.
With an EP coming in mid-November, HOST are seeing off 2016 with a bang.
