Nick Hook recruits Novelist

New York’s in-demand collaborator and producer extraordinaire Nick Hook teams up with Novelist for 'Can’t Tell Me Nothing'.
Like the rest of Nick’s upcoming album Relationships, “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” was recorded in-person at his Greenpoint studio, The Space Pit. Novelist sums up the track in his Instagram post about the producer earlier this summer: “Nick Hook - This man gave me a new outlook on life when I met him in New York at 18 years old when I went out there alone. He reiterated to me that FREEDOM starts in the mind and to do what you want with 100% of your energy. I've been taking my own time to understand life guys and I wanna say that the race is not for the swift, but remain to be certain in every thing. At times I've not been certain about what I want to do with myself but it's the wise words of good friends and my bible that keep my mind in the right place. Write your plans on your walls and paper, stick to them and don't stop till the casket drops. Love!”.
Having lent his touch to projects from Run The Jewels, A$AP Ferg and Hudson Mohawke, along with countless others, Hook steps forward to release his own album of collaborations that are unconventional and unexpected. Energetic and unapologetic, ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ is a testament to that mischievous attitude and creative spirit.
