Dinamic Duo Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip Are Back Together
And the duo return, Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip are back together after nearly four years apart, and have already ploughed through the first part of their new tour with a bombastic power, smashing Edinburgh and forging on beyond. Heading up the tour was the free release of their new single ‘Stunner’ and the promise of a new album Repent Replenish Repeat, due for release on the 7th October.
As 'Stunner’ was released on the wilderness of the web, the single was met with praise from critics and fans alike. It's a story of hurt and the collapse of love with even a little nod to previous track ‘Look For The Woman’ thrown in for good measure. I’ve been hooked on the lyrics since first hearing it which is one of Scroobious Pip’s main talents; taking words and arranging them in an order of his own design and throwing them out like a misunderstood cannon.
The songs video, made up of his Facebook fans and friends takes place in a dark London basement with a crypt feel. Pip is always the central focus as he moves around various rooms filled with wacky strangeness before reaching a finale on a dizzy roller skating carousel with Pip himself as the centre. Dan le Sac makes his appearance at the start hammering down his customary pounding of noise, the true essence and backbone of the track.
