Lebron James To Produce The NBA 2K14 Soundtrack

The Miami Heats superstar and two time NBA champion has been chosen to select the songs for the soundtrack of the 2014 edition of the immensely popular video game franchise.
James’s choices for NBA 2K14 as confirmed by NBA.com include Drake’s ‘Started From The Bottom’, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' ‘Can't Hold Us’ with Ray Dalton, Daft Punk and Pharrell's ‘Get Lucky’ as well as songs from Kanye West, Jadakiss, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Coldplay, Robin Thicke, Eminem, Gorillaz, Imagine Dragons, Rick Ross, Kanye West and Nas.
This is not the first time a high profile celebrity has been picked to executive produce the soundtrack to the game although Lebron is the first NBA artist chosen for such a task. Last year, Jay Z selected the tunes for the NBA 2K13 game which sold four million copies worldwide.
The NBA 2K14 game which also features the NBA Finals MVP on its cover is due for release on October 1.
