Circo Loco in the Arena

World-renowned club brand Circo Loco is soon to be touching back down in Birmingham’s charismatic Arena space, bringing along with them the stellar line-ups they’re known for.
This year, Circo Loco will be utilizing even more of The Rainbow Venues’ exciting array of space by expanding the site in conjunction with TYPE FESTIVAL – using the Rainbow Warehouse, Rainbow Garden and adjoining street, which stretches underneath 18th century viaducts, amplifying the sound and create a stunning backdrop for this grand scale rave.
Throwing sound systems into urban dwellings, Circo Loco in the Arena sets itself apart from your typical festival surroundings and the rest of this year’s festival calendar.
Digbeth, aka the underground heartbeat of the Midlands, will be playing host to the all-star line-up that includes Seth Troxler, Matthias Tanzmann, Davide Squillace, Cassy, Kerri Chandler, Maceo Plex, Apollonia, The Martinez Brothers, Tania Vulcano, System of Survival and Tales of Us.
TYPE will also be introducing itself with a distinct collection of artists; Berlin hero Prosumer, New York’s Levon Vincent, Needwant’s Kim Ann Foxman, a special live show from John Heckle and sets from San Soda and Citizen.
TYPE will take over The Arena on day 2, with headliner Jamie Jones partying alongside Planet E chief and bona fide Detroit techno legend Carl Craig. Also in on the action will be Art Department, as well as Move D and One Records main men Adam Shelton and Subb-Ann.
Circo Loco is a true underground institution and has been since 1999. TYPE are proud to bring this full experience to the Midlands once again in 2013, making this a weekend that should not be missed.
