Sa-Roc, the second female rapper to sign Rhymesayers, has already regularly featured with The Roots as well as performing alongside hip hop greats such as Dead Prez, Talib Kweli and Atmosphere. Her well received 2015 album ‘Gift Of The Magi’ was but a taste of what’s to come from this captivating spitter and her world of emotive and empowering lyricism and wordplay. In the strong tradition of female emcees to have emerged from the US such as Bahamadia, Jean Grae and Rapsody, Sa-Roc is a seriously talented emcee known to her fans for her inspirational civil rights and feminist commentary. Sa-Roc will be performing for the very first time in the UK at Jazz Cafe in London this Friday 24th August, representing herself and the ever growing global presence of indie/alt hip hop label Rhymesayers Entertainment.
