Ja Rule protests public housing conditions in NYC Other | Thursday 22nd February 2018 | Gassy activism housing new york city jarule Hip Hop It's been a long time since we heard a tune from hip-hop star Ja Rule, a rapper who continues to dominate the music world with legendary tracks like ' I'm Real', 'Always On Time', 'Mesmerize' and other mad tunes featuring his unforgettable powerful and raw voice. Now Ja rule has recently decided to use his voice for a different cause. Denouncing the housing conditions in New York due to complaints made to the city hall that in the winter heat and water can be scarce. We all know that the snow and cold weather of New York is far worse than our two centimetres of snow (if we are lucky), that comes once a year in London. "Let’s come out and let’s fight this cause first. Let’s shut the city down. We ain’t paying no more rent until these situations are dealt with. No heat, no hot water? No money, no rent," said Ja Rule at a protest in the streets of NYC. This is proof that no matter how you live, we should all be thinking of others, even if you are a multi-award winning artist like Ja Rule. Respect to Ja Rule!
