Some highlights of the week included Pride in the Park, Parliament displaying rainbow coloured lights and of course, the famous Pride Parade that had over 300 groups of people marching to show their love, support and pride. There are still several events continuing around the world to keep the message going. The Queer British Art 1861-1967 Exhibition is on at the Tate until 7th October 2017 and will be displaying famous LGBTQ art from many great artists throughout the years. As well as that, Angels in America is a play about New Yorkers dealing with the AIDS crisis in the 1980s and will be on at the National Theatre until the 19th of August 2017.
