The Notorious B.I.G.'s Murder Case is "One Big Conspiracy"

RnB/Hip Hop | Thursday 9th March 2017 | Idrees

March 9th saw the 20th anniversary for the death of Christopher Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G.

To the hip hop legends mother, Voletta Wallace, his death hurts “every single day,” from the moment he was gunned down outside of a Los Angeles party on March 9th 1997.

Wallace shared her heartbreak as well as her reflections on the unsolved murder case with the Daily Mail.

“Any mother who has lost a child knows exactly the devastation I feel,” she shares. “It’s the worst pain in the world and one that I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy.

“He was so young, so talented and his life was taken far too soon. It’s unnecessary that Christopher lost his life at just 24. He was my baby, and I think about him every day.”

Wallace claims that she believes she knows who killed her son.

“I have a very good idea who murdered Christopher and I genuinely believe that the LAPD know exactly who did too,” she says. “They’ve done their investigation, but they just refuse to move forward. I don’t know why they haven’t arrested who was involved. It seems to me that it’s one giant conspiracy, and someone is definitely being protected somewhere down the line.”

Greg Kading, the former detective who is responsible for the book and film Murder Rap: Inside The Biggie and Tupac Murders, had spoken to Wallace previously about the findings on her son’s death. Kading claimed that Puff Daddy had hired a hitman to take out the Tupac, which caused Suge Knight to retaliate and hire someone of his own to kill Biggie.

Through all of this, Wallace says she found solace in turning to God and staying involved in church, but she states that she will not have ultimate peace until justice is found for her son.

“There’s no closure for me until that murderer is behind bars and sentenced,” she says.

We can only hope that justice is indeed served.
