A brand new 24 hour venue, Shelter will open in Amsterdam for ADE and it's planned lineup for the festival is looking big! Located beneath the lJ river bank and boasting a 700 people capacity and Funktion One soundsystem, the venue is shaping up to be a seriously interesting proposition.

Merijn van den Heuvel, Kolja Verhage and Milan van Oijen are in charge of the project. Having worked for clubs and dance organisations from AIR and Trouw to Deep House Amsterdam, the trio are looking to continue their fine work on the cutting edge of club culture with this new venture.

The 24 hour venue opens on Thursday 20th October. Jackmaster Presents Mastermixcurates the night with vibe master Moodymann set to join the Glaswegian & support from DJs Tom Trago, De Sluwe Vos and William Kouam Djoko.

Friday night, Serge’s Clone Records takes control bring l-f, Legowelt and more. Saturday sees a celebration of Semantica, who celebrate their 10th anniversary with help from Voices From The Lake, Peter Van Hoesen and Marco Shuttle. To round out the ADE celebrations, veteran Dutch DJ Joris Voorn will play an extended set at Shelter.

Whilst the ADE events are running until 8am only, the 24 hour licence given to club suggests non stop party weekends are on the horizon
