Rina Mushonga drops her brand new EP Bullet
Dutch-Zimbabwean multi-instrumentalist and singer Rina Mushonga releases her latest EP Bullet on February 12th via PIAS Recordings.
Striking the perfect balance between song-craft and sonic experimentation, Bullet is a spectacualr soundscape that moves effortlessly between electronic ballads, anthemic euphoria and African tinged synth-pop, all topped with Mushonga’s emotionally charged vocals.
Rina Mushonga has caught the attention of some of the very best musicians and producers working today. Her debut album, The Wild, The Wilderness, saw her collaborate with multi-platinum and Mercury-nominated British producer Chris Bond, while a remix of her hit single ‘Eastern Highlands’ by Joris Voorn was met with critical acclaim. She is set to support Bloc Party at the Amsterdam show at the end of the month, and is heading to these shores for two London dates - the Queens Head in Islington on Feb 23rd and Queen of Hoxton on the 25th.
