Syrian Refugees Help Rebuild Rochdale After Floods

Other | Wednesday 6th January 2016 | Tom

Following the devastating floods in Cumbria this winter, a group of Syrian refugees, in true British style, decided to pitch in and help their neighbours. Members of the Rethink Rebuild Society based in Manchester travelled to Rochdale to aid in local flood prevention efforts.

The refugees said that they wanted to ‘repay the kindness shown to them since they have been in the country’.
