The London Review Bookshop is holding an exclusive screening of the new feature-length documentary detailing the history of the Black Panther movement. Directed, written, and produced by Stanley Nelson, the piece charts the growth, peak, and painful legacy of the revolutionary group, and their impact on wider American culture.
Rare archival footage is narrated by the voices of those members, policemen, and politicians who were through Panther days both bright and dark. Tickets @ £10 are running out so move quickly if you want to be a part of it.
