Kiko Bun: Jamaica via South London Reggae | Tuesday 3rd November 2015 | Sam london Kiko Bun After a stellar year featuring debut sets at Reading/Leeds, Bestival and Wireless Festival, Federico Marin, or Kiko Bun to you and I, is launching himself into the Reggae stratosphere via South London. After supporting titans of Reggae, The Wailers last year on their UK tour, and sharing the stage with legendary DJ, David Rodigan, expectations are huge for the new talent who's signed with Island Records. With his own rescheduled UK tour due to kick off next month at The Blue's Kitchen in Brixton (tickets available here), the half-Italian, half-Panamanian artist is gaining the kind of coverage needed to excel in the Reggae game; he certainly has the voice for it, with his old school Reggae vibes clearly drawing influence from the king himself, Bob Marley. Last week, he announced on Twitter that he has been in the recording studio with electronic duo Chase and Status and Producer / DJ Shy FX, so there is no doubt that big things are on the horizon for the talented Londoner. Big big vibes in the studio with @ShyFX and @chaseandstatus last night! Bless kings, had a wicked time!
