Hammered on BBC Radio 1, named dropped by Axwell, supporting huge names at events and causally meeting up with MTA label bosses, Chase & Status. It’s fair to say that the future for Fono is looking bright!
It was his track, 'Real Joy' that pushed him into the limelight, and once you hear it, you’ll understand why. It’s an electro banger, with a well-constructed bassline along with twisted bleeps, a killer combination that has most jumping with real joy and real passion. It hit top spot in the BBC Radio 1 dance chart and has been repeatedly played by many of the resident DJs on the station.
When Fono isn’t busy creating a new breed of electro house, you’ll catch him spinning tracks alongside some of the country’s elite, usually in his hometown of Brighton. He’s no stranger to Djing, he’s been resident at the late club, Audio and acts as support for a variety of big events in Brighton.
He has blasted his way into the scene and taken all by surprise, Fono has set the foundations for a lifelong career and if 'Real Joy' is anything to go by then he’ll be topping charts and headlining shows in no time.
