AlunaGeorge Are Playing The Electric In Brixton

Aluna Francis and George Reid want to put individuality back into popular music, and with their unique brand of seductive melodies and uncanny sounds they are achieving just that.
The duo – together the band AlunaGeorge – have a new album coming out on 29th July and they are playing at the Electric Brixton next Thursday (20th June). They’ve had a couple of break-out hits recently ‘Your Drums, Your Love’ being one of them, in which Aluna Francis’ gentle and melodic vocals and George Reid’s hypnotic beats and arrangements of the music combine to make a track that you’ll have in your head long after it stops playing. The band also became very popular after collaborating with Disclosure on their recent track ‘White Noise’. With so many great tunes released in such a short time the 20th is bound to be a great night. We can’t wait!
