The Rolling Stones Rock Out in L.A
Monday 29th April 2013 | Adam
Dysfunctional yet legendary rock quartet The Rolling Stones smashed a tiny club gig on Saturday night ahead of their 50 and Counting world tour.
The Echo Park neighbourhood in L.A welcomed them down to play a rare one off show at a venue not much bigger than some of our front rooms as tickets were distributed to fans via a lottery which took place earlier the same day.
A selection of VIP's managed to skip the lottery selection, with members from Greenday and No Doubt turning up to rock out as well as Owen Wilson, Bruce Willis and Johnny Depp.
They delivered 12 tracks plus a double encore with response of rapturous applause. We look forward to seeing them touring the globe this summer... providing they don't try and party quite as hard as they did back in the day, fingers crossed they will all still be alive at the end of it.
Full set-list is below, perhaps a sneak preview of how their shows will be shaping up?
'You Got Me Rocking'
'Respectable'
'She's So Cold'
'Live With Me'
'Street Fighting Man'
'That's How Strong My Love Is'
'Little Queenie'
'Just My Imagination'
'Miss You'
'Love In Vain'
'Midnight Rambler'
'Start Me Up'
'Brown Sugar'
'Jumpin' Jack Flash'
