Aint No Love - Aint No Love EP
Wednesday 10th April 2013 | Osh
When it comes to electro hip hop, the likes of Chiddy Bang, Die Antwood and Kid Sister all come to mind. Toronto’s newest instalment is Aint No Love. Gradually climbing the ladder to success by constant touring and releasing video after video, it’s about time they release a record.
Coming out on July 1st, entitled Aint No Love EP, this four track record has a lot to say for itself.
These anthemic beats are covered by Liam Clarke AKA (Love Thy Brother); made to compliment the two heavyset flows of 1990 and Beanz. These guys take to the verses and leave the chorus’ up to Saidah Conrad, who completes the line up with her smooth, warming, soulful voice.
This diverse mixture makes this record really sound new, and for the first time in years, it shows originality.
Get ready to listen to this on repeat this summer, in the sun, with all your friends. ‘Shine’ is bound to jump into our charts from nowhere. – You heard it here first.
Listen to their newest track 'Gone Already' here;
Check them over on their UK shows where they’ll be hitting Notting Hill Arts Club and Proud on May 14th, followed by Brighton Great Escape festival on May 17th. Not many artists can play two shows in one night, but for these guys to do it twice in the same week is intense.
