Guestlist recommends: Mutemath - Odd Soul

New Orleans band, Mutemath proves to be more than just the average rock band. They’ve just been added to the line-up at Keloha Festival in British Columbia and their new sound definitely helped them land the gig. In their last album Odd Soul, the band shows us everything they were holding back before.
‘Prytania’ is the stuff indie rock anthems are made of. The single starts off with that signature electronic Mutemath vibe, but then the groovy tastes of psych rock sink in. It’s a complete reinvention of the band’s previous alternative sound; introducing melodic funk, upbeat soul and hands down wicked beats from drummer Darren King.
‘Allies’ is another game changer with an intoxicating blend of electronic and funk.
'Blood Pressure'’s video, edited by King, is enough to make your head spin. But the garage blues makes it all worthwhile.
