Exploited Records Warehouse Party with Adana Twins, Claptone & Doctor Dru
Monday 25th March 2013 | Martin
Exploited Records are hosting their first official London party on 6th April with headliners Adana Twins, accompanied by the fantastic Shir Khan, Claptone and Dr. Dru. The premier label from the deep house capital, Berlin, are leaving the location of the east London warehouse party currently undisclosed.
Adana Twins' recent EP Everyday, combined four-to-the-floor house rhythms with retro house vocals on its massive title track. Sick remixes followed. Labelmate Dr. Dru carries serious hype among the house contingent, with his single 'The Voice of Dru' reaching number one on the Deephouse Beatport charts in 5 days and hitting the Beatport Top 10. His 2012 EP 2 Know U, takes body-moving bass and simple funky rhythms.
Their support from Claptone is bound to show some growing UK-based hype on the Exploited label. Their G-funk inspired 'Wrong' with its sample from Still D.R.E., draws together the unlikely musical companions of minimal house and hip hop. Expect to see these guys fill the dancefloor up over and over over the next year.
It's long overdue that Exploited Records brought the best of German house to London. Get your tickets on Resident Advisor
