The History of Apple Pie
This band is London’s very own taste of twee/indie. The band may be new on the scene, but they’ve already released their debut album Out of View last month. The tenderly haunting sound of Stephanie Min’s vocals accompanied by the group’s heavier electric guitars keeps their fan base growing. So we expect to see a lot more of The History of Apple Pie in 2013. Catch them at The Old Blue Last in London on 19th February.
Villagers
Admittedly, it won’t be that easy to see Villagers this week. Both London gigs have sold out on their official website. Their Manchester gig’s sold out too, and the Brighton show as well, and the one in Bristol and- you get the idea. So there must be something special about this this mellow-vibe, feel-good indie group that has fans rushing for tickets. If you can’t track down a couple slightly over-priced tickets online, here’s a taste of what you’ll be missing:
