Here at Flucamp we specialise in conducting clinical trials to help beat viruses by developing
treatments and vaccines for colds, influenza and other viruses at our head office which is located at
Whitechapel in the uber cool East End of London. At this site we have an excellent healthcare and
research facility that has been designed specifically for clinical trials. Occasionally we may need to
use other healthcare and research facilities in other locations, but most of our Flucamp trials are
based in London.
Here at Flucamp our aim is to develop new or better drugs and vaccines to fight respiratory virus
infections and hopefully save lives. When dealing with colds, flu and other respiratory viruses it is
necessary to conduct our research inside a quarantine unit. Our Flucamp healthcare and research
facilities are designed especially for innovative medical research, but with the comfort of the
volunteer in mind. At Flucamp you will have a comfortable bed, wireless internet access, three meals
a day, a flat screen TV, DVDs and video games consoles – we want you to be comfortable during your
stay with us.
Your safety is of course really important to us – so whilst we offer you great facilities, we
also conduct all our trials to the highest standard and under the International Conference on
Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) guidelines.
