Any producers in the house? This one’s for you!
A recent peruse through YouTube introduced me to the wonderful world of AraabMuzik, It’s a wonderful world, come and join me.
Before last week, I had no idea who he was. A week and almost a million replays later, I’m probably his number 1 fan. AraabMuzik's production style consists largely of chopped up samples and hard hitting drum patterns. His use of mellow samples and crazy drum beats drop kicked me into a spiral of infatuation.
Araab Muzik or Abraham Orellana, as his mother would call him, is the second of three children and the son of a former professional singer. So far, AraabMuzik has found success working with Dipset members including Cam’Ron, Duke Da God, and Hell Rell, he’s also worked with Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Cassidy, Gucci Mane, Young Dro and Fabolous. Along with his production credits, AraabMuzik has also more recently been known to unrepentantly burn holes in his MPC, no seriously – he’s a madman. Check the vid below.
Araab’s beats are reminiscent of the works of Dr. Dre, Swizz Beats, Just Blaze and 9th Wonder. I won’t say he’s one for the future…AraabMuzik is one for NOW. If you didn’t know, now you do. Dude is DOPE!!
