Has Craig Nicholls seen the last of his ‘Winning Days’?

The Vines’ frontman has been arrested for assaulting his parents last weekend.
Following the sacking of everyone else in his band The Vines, the singer has been arrested for assaulting his parents over the weekend. Details released state that Nicholls punched his mother in the head twice on Saturday at his parents’ home in Sydney, before attempting to flee from police. He has since been bailed until November.
They took him down with pepper spray, but not before he had committed five offences including domestic assault. A police officer sustained injuries to his elbows and knees, but I wouldn’t fancy Nicholls in a fight – perhaps the unfortunate officer just fell over. Either way, it doesn’t look good for the troubled singer, whose struggle with Asperger’s Syndrome has been well documented in the past.
It would be a shame if he had nobody to turn to concerning his condition, but at the rate Nicholls is going, that’s how he is likely to end up.
