Black Light Burns Announce UK Tour 2013
Tuesday 9th October 2012 | Jake
Industrial rockers will be back in the UK promoting their second album THE MOMENT YOU REALIZE YOU’RE GOING TO FALL.
One might not be as familiar with Black Light Burns as say, Limp Bizkit. But Limp Bizkit were a household name in the nu-metal households of the early 2000’s. One thing that runs consistently through these two bands though is Wes Borland. You might recognize him in the Bizkit videos. He’s the guys painted head to toe in…paint. Oh and he plays guitar. But not in this band. In this endeavour he’s rocking the vocals. Their debut album ‘Cruel Melody’, released in 2007 hit #2 in the Heatseekers chart.
After a brief hiatus to write and tour with Limp Bizkit, Borland is back with Black Light Burns second album and have recently announced a UK tour for 2013. If you weren’t a fan of the Bizkit, please don’t let that put you off. Taking on the same tones as Nine Inch Nails and other industrial melodies, BLB are not to be missed. Try and catch them at any of these shows. I know I will. Maybe two if I'm lucky.
