Hey Sholay at the Lock Tavern today !

FREE GIG. That’s right: the best things in life are free, and this is one heck of a treat. Hey Sholay are playing tonight at The Lock Tavern – Chalk Farm, and it’s sure to be a gooden.
Hey Sholay are a five-piece group of musicians, filmmakers and artists from Sheffield and Leeds. They profess, “psychedelic, independent pop with a hint of the Northern Lights captured in a jam jar.” They really are just a lovely little indie band rising to the top.
Yesterday saw the release of their excellent first album “((O))” so tonight the boys should be on a high. This is easily one of my favourite downloads this month. It’s hard to find another band to compare these cheeky chaps too, as they seem to be some sort of chirpy electronic / indie hybrid. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this bobble hat wearing musical pentagon.
Feel-good tunes and easy listening - what more could you want on a Tuesday night? If you're too busy washing your pants or catching up on the ironing then get your life in check and either shimmy you backside down to The Lock Tavern or at least onto Itunes to downloads the new album.
