Californian underground rapper ‘Blu’ is about to team up once again with his partner in crime and “homeboy” Exile.
Their highly talked about new album 'Give Me Flowers So I Can Still Smell Them' is set to be out on September 4th. In 2011 they dropped the first part of their journey ‘Give me my flowers while I can smell them’ which let us, as a listener begin they’re album journey.
Not to say they haven’t worked together before. They're studio album “Below The Heavens” was released on the 30th August 2007. It blew up in the states and even i heard it shortly after it was released, living in England! It personally changed my life when i heard it. As a musician, it motivated me to step up my game.
With a different type of swag, the beats have a unique style of hip-hop using samples that even Kanye didn’t think of. Exile has a unique style that sets him apart from other producers. He can switch concepts easily and has a large fan base as a result. Blu is someone that understands what conscious rap is truly about, so when these two pair up its an epic compilation each time. Make sure you “cop” the new album and enjoy.
