Artist Review: BADBADNOTGOOD

BADBADNOTGOOD are a ‘Jazz-Hop’ Trio comprised of drummer Alex, Keyboard player Matt and Bass Player Chester. Hailing from Toronto Canada, what makes this band unique is (as the term Jazz-Hop would suggest) their ability to take hip-hop tracks and put a jazz spin on them, adding a whole new dimension. From their cover of Waka Flocka’s “Hard In Da Paint” to their live collaboration with Odd Future’s Tyler the Creator, everything they cover is golden. If J DIlla or 9th planet were a band, its most likely they would sound something along the lines of this three piece.
