Seminal new wave/post-punk band New Order will be playing a one-off show in East London’s Troxy. This the band’s first UK gig in over five years and the first without original bassist Peter Hook.
The December 10th show is the band’s effort to raise money for a friend’s charity but rumour has it that a full-fledged reunion might be on the cards.
New Order arose from the ashes of Joy Division after front man Ian Curtis’s suicide in 1980. They went on to become one of most iconic UK bands. Their unique blend of electronic music and alternative rock was a huge hit with fans and critics alike.
