Guestlist Recommends: Label ClekClekBoom

ClekClekBoom is a label that has stayed resolutely true to its roots: all of its artists are friends based in Paris, and together they have quietly worked to define a fresh sound for France.
Paris Club Music Vol 1, released in April 2013 and featuring music from the likes of French Fries, Bambounou, Manaré and Coni, was a resounding success and a defining moment for the team. Now, with Paris Club Music Vol 2 due out at the end of June, it looks like this label is set to grow even bigger.
ClekClekBoom have worked hard to prove that there is more to French club music than heavy electro - this is jacking yet occasionally stripped back house for the club, completely distinct from any of the London scenes. Its artists are young, inventive and in demand all over the world, but they all share the same vision and background.
Its this unique sound which has helped ClekClekBoom secure a weekly Rinse France radio show and regular label takeovers of Room 2 at Fabric.
