Get the Yeezy lifestyle with this comprehensive guide to his most talked about brands.

Mercedes Benz

It’s no secret that Kanye West loves cars. He’s got a big car collection and has referenced 20 different types of car throughout his career. The Benz is Ye’s most mentioned car by far though, he feels that only a certain type of person owns a Benz and still walk around wearing a backpack and he’s one of them. He’s even got a page on website Celebrity Cars with pictures of him getting in and out of various cars.

Favourite Benz referencing lyric: “I say can you get my Benz in the club?” If not, treat your friends like my Benz, park they ass outside till the evening ends” (Send It Up, Yeezus)

Louis Vuitton

Last year, Kanye was reported to have told fans to boycott Vuitton which seems strange considering it’s one of his favourite designer labels but at the same time, it seems like something Kanye would do. He even owns a Louis V blanket which he was snapped wearing on a plane.

Favourite Louis Vuitton referencing lyric: “I’m Kan, the Louis Vuitton don.  Bought my mum a purse, now she Louis Vuitton mom”

Ye went as far as wrecking a Maybach in the video for Otis with Jay Z and then auctioned off the ruined remains for $60,000. You know you’ve made it when you can afford to torch a $350,000 car that you’ve probably dreamed about owning your whole life.

Favourite Maybach referencing lyric: “Maybach bumper sticker reads: What would Hova do?”  (Otis, Watch The Throne)

Many a rapper has talked about sipping on that Henny in their songs and Kanye is no different. He especially hit the bottle hard at the 2009 VMAs, holding it by his side at all times. Perhaps all that straight Hennessey out the bottle was what fuelled Ye to get on stage in the middle of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech. Drink Henny responsibly.

Favourite Hennessey referencing lyric: “This beat deserves Hennessey, a bad bitch and a bag of weed, the holy trinity” (The Joy)

Christian Dior

Another designer Ye is fond of is Christian Dior, most notably showing his love for the French designer on the Daft Punk-sampling, Kate Moss namedropping single ‘Stronger’ from his 3rd album Graduation.

Favourite Dior referencing lyric: “Awesome, the Christian and Christian Dior, damn they don’t make ‘em like this anymore. I ask cause I’m not sure, do  anybody make real shit anymore?”

Seriously, Kanye is all about the designer labels. As an aspiring fashion designer, he knows his stuff and doesn’t shy away from showing it in his songs and in his monochrome style.

Favourite Gucci referencing lyric: “Break records at Louis, ate breakfast at Gucci” (Clique, G.O.O.D Music)

Showing that he has finer taste for everything at all times, Kanye’s favourite choice of cuisine is Nobu where he has taken Kim out to dinner before – with the press covering it as if going to dinner with your girlfriend is a spectacle. It’s probably pretty hard to get a table there now that Ye’s registered his interest in them.

Favourite Nobu referencing lyric: “I might walk in Nobu with no shoes, he just walked in Nobu like it was Whole Foods” (See Me Now)

Nike Jordans

Kanye likes speaking about trainers a lot and even did a limited run himself called Nike Air Yeezy but it only got one limited run and predictably sold out as soon as they were released to the public. Kanye wasn’t too happy that he only got to do one batch as he famously ranted in an interview with Zane Lowe but he’s now set to release a line with competitors Adidas.

Favourite Jordans referencing lyric: “Drug dealers buy Jordans, crackhead buy crack and a white man get paid off of all of that” (All Falls Down, The College Dropout)

Hennessey isn’t the only alcohol that Kanye is crazy about, he loves Cristal too. Nothing says rap superstar like an expensive bottle of champagne.

Favourite Cristal referencing lyric: “So go head pop some Cristal for my newborn child” (Celebration,

Jacob & Company

Out of all the jewellers in the land, Jacob & Company is the one for Mr. West. Jacob started out selling moderately priced jewellery but caught the attention of celebs and rappers alike and has been crowned with the name “Jacob The Jeweller”.

Favourite Jacob referencing lyric: “I go to Jacob with 25 thou, you go with 25 hundred, wow – I got eleven plaques on my wall right now”
