Two new releases, Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 experience (2 of 2) and HAIM’s debut release Days are gone, fought it out for the number one slot this week.
It was a close-run thing, with a mere twenty eight copies separating the two mid-week. But it was the all-girl three piece that outsold J.T’s second album of the year by 2,100 to win by a nose.
The album features three UK top 40 singles, with most recent release The Wire peaking at number 16.
Kings of Leon’s Mechanical Bull enjoyed just one week at number one and slides down to number three, with Arctic Monkeys and Drake occupying fourth and fifth respectively. Dizzee Rascal’s latest studio album The Fifth charted at number ten.
