Whilst making a guest appearance on ESPN’s Saturday Night Football, veteran rapper Eminem previewed a clip from the music video for his upcoming single Berzerk. The track is taken from his forthcoming eighth studio album, entitled The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which is scheduled for release November 4th.
With the first instalment of the album having achieved the status of second best-selling album in the history of hip hop, having sold a staggering 10.6 million copies, and universally hailed as one of the greatest rap albums by fans and critics alike, Mr Mather’s is swelling up expectation within his masses of fans that might prove near-impossible to meet; even from an artist of his magnificent calibre.
The video sees Eminem regressing to the vintage look of his slim shady era; dressed in a plain white T-shirt and with bleached blonde hair. The video includes an appearance from internationally renowned producer of the track, Rick Rubin (who has already worked on Kanye West’s Yeezus and Jay Z’s MCHG this year alone) and a cameo from Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar.
The full version of the music video in now available to be viewed online, and has racked up nearly 3,000,000 views in under a day… Shady still has it!!!
