For over 40 years, Astor Hostels, an independent family run youth hostel group in London, have been welcoming travellers from all over the globe with open arms.

We have four amazing hostels in Central London, each with their own unique and vibrant atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff, making it great for those of you who are moving to London for work and need short-term accommodation before finding something more suitable, or for a quick London getaway.  

Astor Hyde Park, a beautiful Victorian Town house located on a quiet tree-lined boulevard still boasts its stunning original features and is the newest addition to the Astor Family. Helping Astor Hostels to win an Award for 3rd best hostel group in the World, Hyde Park hotel is a striking building in one of London’s most attractive and affluent neighbourhoods, and is widely regarded as the best budget accommodation in walking distance of Kensington Gardens and The Serpentine. Located next to the Royal Albert Hall, New Kensington Palace Museum, Princess Diana Memorial and minutes walk from the Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert Museums, Hyde Park has a vibrant atmosphere where you can relax peacefully upstairs or party hard downstairs! With 24-hour reception, free safes available, free Wi-Fi and a host of other amenities your stay is guaranteed to be great.

Astor Museum Inn is one of our oldest hostels in London and has been helping out weary backpackers and travellers loosen up since 1977!  The location of this hostel makes it one of the best value hostels in Central London - right in front of the British Museum! Additionally, guests can access Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Leicester Square in just less than 10 minutes.

A cosy budget hostel split across two buildings near Russell Square, this low cost hotel doesn’t feel much like it due to the recently renovated kitchen, new reception and revamped lounge.  There are dozens of sights located close to the hostel, and is the best hostel to visit as much of London and it’s wonderful sights as you can take in! Alternatively, stay indoors with your fellow residents and enjoy a good time in the basement and patio.

Astor Quest is a boutique budget hostel located in the bustling neighbourhood of Bayswater.  With 100 beds, this hostel is charming and welcoming and set in a quiet street minutes from Hyde Park.  The Quest is one of the best low budget hotels, and the staff will keep you with a smile on your face throughout your stay. Welcoming backpackers through it’s doors for over 20 years, this cute hostel has the feel of a guesthouse.  A short bus or tube ride takes you into the centre of town and all the sights including Oxford Circus, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden.  With a tranquil kitchen and dining room to converse with fellow travellers, 24-hour reception and clean comfortable beds, with breakfast included, the team at the Quest present much more than just a low cost room.

Astor Victoria is the largest of our budget accommodation split across two adjoining buildings. The atmosphere can be described as laid back and an ideal place to meet new friends.  We have been operating here for close to 15 years, with the Victoria hosting the after party for Astor’s roaring 30th Anniversary at Pacha.  This hostel is one of the best London Hotels near Victoria Station, and is a just a short walk to the River Thames. Stay at the Astor Victoria and you will be sure to have a thrilling time! With two large kitchens in the basement, this young hostel has plenty of space to meet other likeminded travellers.  We have Free Fast Wi-Fi, 24 hour reception for late check-ins, and we provide everything else including free safes, towels for hire and padlocks.
