Hunter & The Bear - Forest On The Hill
Upcoming Scottish indie folk-rock band, Hunter & The Bear, will be releasing their greatly anticipated single on the 30th September, and their new EP soon after. The single ‘Forest On The Hill’ is characterised by fast-paced guitars and the lead singer’s raspy yet soulful vocals, with the backing vocals harmonizing them, layering the sound brilliantly. This a key part of Hunter & the Bear’s signature sound, it also ties in with the band’s genre, which is becoming increasingly popular thanks to the success of The Lumineers and Mumford & Sons- and no doubt will Hunter & The Bear follow their success.
The song was chosen to compete for DJ Sarah Champion from Absolute Radio’s track of the week with Emerging Icons last Sunday, and was definitely a strong contender. Keep a watchful eye on Hunter & The Bear as we have no doubt you'll be hearing more of them.
