The Good Natured Being Dropped By Their Record Label Is A Blow For The Music Industry

They may not have the safe, middle-of-the-roadness of Radio 2 or the bubblegum image of Capital FM, however what The Good Natured do have is superb lyrics and a look that Robert Smith would be proud of.
If you're applying to be on X factor please stop reading now, this will be of no interest to you. If an accountant can be a chart topper within 6 weeks, then surely the music industry is indeed screwed.
The Good Natured, an indie-electro band that are influenced by bands like The Cure, have been around the circuit for years. In fact, their debut album Prism isn't even released yet, or should I say it won't be released at all if their record label has its ways. If One Direction are aloud to kill teenagers brain cells, then maybe we should all just give up. No way! The Good Natured are too much of a talented band to throw in the trashcan like yesterday's leftovers.
Their latest single 'Lovers' already sounds like an indie-pop classic. Sara Mackintosh comes up with great lyrics such as 'You and I could be lovers, but you and I will never be in love', sung in her sweet voice that demands she be taken seriously.
It's an outrage that a band could be dropped before they ever become idols; let's just hope they self-release their debut album so that the world can hear what they have to offer.
