Pro-gambler splashes out on most expensive bubbly ever

Anyone who has prised apart their bleary eyes the morning-after-the-night-before only to find themselves a little too light in the pocket will probably never know this feeling like Don ‘Mother F******’ Johnson knows it.
The American professional gambler is well-known for making impulsive, flamboyant gestures and smashed the record for the most expensive bottle of champers sold at club One4One in London (previously held by an anonymous customer for their purchase of the £80,000 Armand De Brignac ‘Ace of Spades’ Nebuchadnezzar).
Johnson, who was visiting his pals Bon Jovi in London, made his ostentatious statement on the 27th of June by parting with a tidy £120,000 for the record-breaking 45kg Armand De Brignac Midas. He spent the rest of the night screaming his own name and ' I love London' into the microphone, passing the bubbly around and spraying friends and revellers, literally showering people with his generosity... But apparently he doesn’t even like the stuff.
Mr Johnson’s manager, Sophie Raibin, said, ‘The last time Don was in London, he spent more than £100,000 in a week. He wants people to have fun. He doesn’t like to drink champagne, although he had quite a lot to drink last night.’ Party on, Don.
