Who remembers the old Nokia 3310 phone? The days before IPhone’s and Galaxy’s, the Nokia was the real deal. That phone still remains a legend amongst the millennials and older generation.
Well take off your nostalgic googles and prepare for the good news!
That’s right, the Nokia 3310 is making a return! The most reliable phone of all time’s younger, more attractive sibling will be released soon.
The New Nokia 3310 will be smaller, sleeker and reportedly have 22 hours of talk time within a one month battery life on standby, as well as some more up-to-date features.
But more importantly, the best feature of the old phone returns and that is Snake!
That one game you would constantly play on your parent’s phone returns, and this time we get to play it as full grown adults. Sorry Angry Birds, but you ain’t got nothing on Snake!
Available in different colours, the Nokia 3310 has a 2.4-inch screen, Bluetooth 3.0, an FM radio, LED torch, microSD card which supports up to 32GB and a two-megapixel camera.
The only downside is the 2017 version will use 900 MHz and 1800 Mhz, which are frequencies typically used for 2G communications.
So, whilst we are still able to access Twitter, Facebook and other services through Opera Mini browser, connection would likely be very slow.
The phone has a release date set for the second quarter of 2017, and will be priced at £41.
